When  the  people we love betray us, we can  forgive and  forget because our wounds will heal one day. But when the people we love betray us and  lie time after time to cover up  promises they never kept,  we can forgive but we can't forget  because our wounds keep bleeding with every new lie.  God,  you are  the only one who knows the truth, so we  pray to you to give us the ability to forget and we pray to  you  to  forgive   the  people who betrayed us and insist on hiding the truth.
